Requirements for the Red Raider Outfitter Armed Forces Scholarship 2010

-Applicants must be an IMMEDIATE family member of an ARMY, NAVY, MARINES or AIR FORCE soldier in which that soldier is currently serving a tour in the U.S. Military or has served one tour previously

-The family member must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years of age

-The family member must use the scholarship to attend Texas Tech University

-The applicant may nominate him or herself for the scholarship. Other individuals may nominate a qualified applicant, as well

-The nominee must write a 500-word paragraph of why he or she is pursuing the scholarship and what the $500 would be used for

-The winner of each military branch’s scholarship will be announced the week of November 28, 2010. Therefore, all nominations must be turned in to the military personnel in charge of selections and Red Raider Outfitter no later than November 25, 2010
